1. Basketball
Basketball is a sport played between two teams of five players each. Each team tries to score points by throwing a ball through the hoop at the opposite end of the court. Points are scored by shooting the ball through the hoop using either hand. A player may shoot the ball once they have possession of the ball, or after dribbling the ball past their opponent. If a player misses the shot, they get fouled by the opposing team and must take a free throw. After making a basket, the player gets the ball back and continues play until he makes another basket.
2. Baseball
Baseball is a sport played between nine players on a field divided into three bases (home plate, first base, second base) and six infielders (pitcher, catcher, shortstop, third baseman, second baseman, first baseman). There are two batters per side, who attempt to hit a pitched ball thrown by the pitcher towards home plate. The batter attempts to hit the ball with a bat and run around the bases to reach home plate before the pitcher throws the ball again. The batter can advance any number of bases on hits, walks, wild pitches, passed balls, errors, or caught stealing. Once a runner reaches the designated base, he becomes safe unless tagged out while attempting to advance to the next base.
3. Football
Football is a sport played between eleven players on a rectangular field divided into four quarters. In American football, the offense consists of 11 players; 9 offensive linemen and 2 quarterbacks. The defense consists of 10 players; 8 defensive linemen and 2 linebackers. The quarterback is responsible for calling the plays and passing the ball to his teammates. On a running play, the quarterback hands off to the running back, who runs toward the line of scrimmage. The running back then breaks the plane of the line and looks for holes in the defense. When the running back finds a hole, he breaks through it and gains yardage. The running back may look for a receiver downfield or cutback if there is no open space. Receivers catch passes from the quarterback and try to gain yards after catching the ball. Running backs and receivers do not need to touch the ground to be considered a legal down. Touchdowns are scored by advancing the ball across the goal line. Teams compete to score more touchdowns than the opposition.

Tee shots consist of hitting the ball with a club and aiming for the flagstick. Shots taken from behind the ball are referred to as woods shots, those taken from in front of the ball are referred to a irons, and those taken from directly above the ball are referred to putts. The player takes a stroke for each hole completed. Scoring is based on how many strokes were required to complete the hole.

facts about sports
1. Sports Nutrition
Sports nutrition is the science of eating right before, during, and after exercise. There are many different types of sports nutrition, including pre-workout supplements, post-workout recovery drinks, and meal replacement shakes. These products help athletes perform at their best by providing them with the necessary fuel they need to train hard and recover well.
2. Pre-Workout Supplements
Pre-workout supplements are designed to give athletes a boost of energy before training. Many pre-workout supplements provide caffeine, B vitamins, creatine monohydrate, and L-carnitine. Caffeine increases alertness and focus while B vitamins improve endurance and energy levels. Creatine monohydrate helps build muscle mass and increase power output. L-carnitines help transport fat and fatty acids throughout the body.
3. Post-Workout Recovery Drinks
Post-workout recovery drinks are formulated to replenish electrolytes lost during intense workouts. Electrolyte loss causes dehydration, which can lead to cramps and fatigue. After intense workouts, athletes should consume a drink containing sodium, potassium, and chloride to replace these lost electrolytes.
4. Meal Replacement Shakes
Meal replacement shakes are designed to give athletes fast access to high-calorie meals. They are often mixed with protein powders, fats, and carbohydrates. Athletes who use meal replacements shake lose weight faster than those who eat regular meals.
