1. Tennis

The game of tennis was invented in 1877 by Dr. William Lyle, who was inspired by the sport played by his son. He wanted to create a game that would help him train his son's mind and body. In the beginning, tennis was played with a racquet and a ball. Over time, the rules were changed to allow players to use rackets and balls of different sizes. Today, tennis is played using two rackets and a ball. There are four types of tennis games: singles, doubles, mixed doubles, and team tennis.

 2. Singles

In singles, each player uses only one racket to hit the ball. Players play singles matches against each other until they reach the final round. Each match consists of three sets of six points. After the first set, if the score is tied at 6-all, then the second set begins. If the score is still tied after the second set, then the third set begins. At the end of the third set, the player with the highest number of points wins.

 3. Doubles

Doubles is similar to singles except that two people play together. However, unlike singles, doubles matches consist of two separate sets. The first set is played by both players hitting the ball back and forth between them. Then, the second set begins where the players switch partners. The winner of the first set becomes the server and serves the ball to their partner. Their partner hits the ball back to them and continues serving until the point limit is reached. Once the point limit is reached, the player with the higher number of points wins.

 4. Mixed Doubles

Mixed doubles is a combination of singles and doubles. Two teams of two people compete against each other. Each member of the team plays singles and doubles simultaneously. The winning team is determined by the total number of points scored.

 5. Team Tennis

Team tennis is played by two teams of five people. Each team has a captain and vice captain. The captains serve the ball to their teammates. When a teammate returns the ball, they have to pass it to the person standing behind them. The team with the most points wins.

6. Tennis

Tennis is a sport played between two teams of two players each. Each player uses a racket to hit a ball over a net towards their opponent's court. The object of tennis is to get the ball past the opponents' net and into your own court. To do this, you need to use different techniques to make sure you hit the ball at just the right time. You may have to move backwards or forwards, depending on where the ball is going. If you miss the ball, then you lose points. When you win, you gain points. Points are added together and the team who wins gets a higher score than the losing team.

 7. Rules

There are many rules in tennis. These rules are set out by the International Tennis Federation (ITF). There are four types of rule in tennis:

 a) Laws of the Game

 b) Equipment

 c) Court dimensions

 d) Playing conditions

The laws of the game are the rules that govern what happens on the court. These rules are agreed upon by the ITF and are enforced by the umpires. The equipment includes the rackets and balls, which are provided by the ITF. The court dimensions are the size of the court, which is measured in meters. The playing conditions include things like weather, wind speed, and lighting.

 8. Courts

There are three types of courts in tennis:

 a. Indoor

 b. Outdoor

 c. Grass
