 The 4th of 20th was created by San Francisco's Grateful Dead fans who wanted to celebrate their favorite band. In honor of 420, they decided to create a day where people could smoke pot together and enjoy music. Today, many states have legalized marijuana use and some even allow recreational use.

 2. Mardi Gras

 Mardi Gras is celebrated in New Orleans, Louisiana. People dress up in colorful costumes and parade around the city. Many parades feature floats decorated with beads and streamers. Others feature marching bands and dancers.

 3. Cinco de Mayo

 Cinco de Mayo is celebrated in Mexico and the United States. It honors Mexican military victories over French forces in 1862.

 4. Oktoberfest

 Oktoberfest is an annual beer festival held in Munich, Germany. The first Oktoberfest took place in 1810 and is considered to be the oldest continually running beer fest in the world.

 5. St Patrick's Day

 St. Patrick's Day is a celebration honoring Saint Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland. March 17 is his feast day.

 6. Easter

 Easter is a holiday celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Christians believe that Jesus rose from the dead on April 1st.

 7. Mother's Day

 Mother's Day is a celebration of mothers and motherhood. It originated in the early twentieth century when women began to organize to gain recognition for their work caring for children.
